Frank
Russell, President & Chief
Executive Officer
Under Frank Russells direction, GeoLearning has grown to be the leading provider of on-demand learning and performance management platforms and training services to corporations and government agencies around the world. The company has grown over 120% the past three years and boasts more than 500 customers. The companys success has been recognized with several awards, including ranking on the Inc. 500 list of Americas fastest-growing private companies for three consecutive years (2004-2006), the Inc. 5000 in 2007, three consecutive years on the Software 500 list (2005-2007), Training Product of the Year from HR Executive Magazine, several American Business Awards (including Most Innovative Company), and TrainingOutsourcing.coms list of the Top 20 Companies in the Training Outsourcing Industry for three successive years (2004-06).
Frank himself was named 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Des Moines Business Record. He was voted to Training Industrys 2007 list of the Most Influential Training Professionals by his peers in the industry. In 2005 he was the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award recipient in the Business Services category for the Central Midwest Region, and named Small Business Person of the Year for the State of Iowa by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Frank has more than 25 years of experience in the training and
learning technology industries. Prior to founding GeoLearning,
he was president and co-founder of Excellence in Training Corporation,
a leading producer of video-based training. Franks extensive experience
in the computer-based training field also includes research at
the Center for Advanced Computation at the University of Illinois
where the first Internet browser was invented.
He worked for Control Data Corporation in the late 1970s with the
Plato System, which was the first commercially viable CBT authoring
system. He has also been the director of training for a Fortune
500 company and head of training for the State of Iowa.
Sam has more than 20 years of accounting
experience in the training industry and has been with GeoLearning
since its beginnings. He has overall responsibility for the accounting,
risk management, reporting and financial control activities of the
company. He has served as CFO for Excellence in Training Corporation
and as vice president of Primedia Workforce Learning, Inc. Sam also
has extensive experience in computer-based accounting and networking
systems. Sam holds two degrees from Drake University in Accounting
and Computer Information Systems.
Matthew oversees the areas of the company that are responsible for the successful delivery of GeoLearnings technology solutions, including software development, technical services, and system architecture and administration.
Prior to joining GeoLearning, Matthew was the managing partner and co-founder of a software consulting firm focused on moving product to market using Agile frameworks. He has worked for start-ups to Fortune 50 companies including Computer Sciences Corporation, Motorola and Nationwide in various leadership capacities where he had responsibility for quality engineering practices such as software systems testing, configuration and change management; systems lifecycle process definition, development, documentation, communication and measurement; and customer, vendor and employee education and measurement.
Matthew holds certifications from the Quality Assurance Institute Worldwide in Software Testing (CSTE) and Software Quality Analysis (CSQA), Certified Configuration Manager (CMIIC) from the Institute of Configuration Management, is a Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP), and completed his Master's degree in Diplomacy from Norwich University with a focus on international actors and frameworks. Additionally, Matthew is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery, Agile Alliance and the Scrum Alliance.

Morrison, Senior

He brings over 10 years
experience leading operations,
business development,
and mergers and acquisitions
in the technology space.
Prior to joining GeoLearning,
Michael served in various
senior leadership positions
including Senior Vice
President of Sales & Operations
and Vice President of
Corporate Development
at Avaltus (an InterActiveCorp
Company); Vice President
and Chief Technology
Officer at ITC Learning
Corporation; and founder
and CEO of INEX. He is
a graduate of the University
of Tulsa and attended
graduate school at George
Mason University in the
doctorate program for
Economics.
Scott is responsible for the worldwide
sales efforts at GeoLearning, and has more than 17 years of sales
and sales management experience in the technology marketplace. Prior
to joining GeoLearning, Scott held senior service and sales positions
with Sprint and MCI/Worldcom. Most recently he was head of MCI/Worldcoms
western sales region in the United States. Scott is a 1989 graduate
of the University of Iowa with a BA in Economics and Business Administration.
Will
Hipwell, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Product Management
Will is responsible for GeoLearnings worldwide marketing operations, including the overall positioning and promotion of the company, its products and services. He also oversees GeoLearnings product management function responsible for evaluating market needs, defining new products and product requirements, translating feature requirements into engineering specifications, and bringing new products and services to market. During his 7-year tenure, the company has been the recipient of more than 40 awards recognizing GeoLearnings products, industry contributions and business performance. Wills previous marketing and product management experience includes more than 10 years in the training and development, insurance and health care industries. He has a BA in Economics from York University (1994) and his MA in Marketing from Drake University (1995).
Allen Dunkle, Vice President of Professional Services
Allen is responsible for the Professional Services division including the successful deployment of GeoLearning’s technology and learning solutions to our clients. The teams that make up this organization include software implementation, learning consulting, training, custom content development and program management. Allen joined GeoLearning in 2006 and brings over 14 years experience leading global training organizations, consulting and operations for companies including TCI Inc., Kenan Systems, Lucent Technologies, PeopleSoft and Oracle. Allen is a graduate of the University of Colorado and holds a Masters of Arts in Education. In addition, he is a trained Six Sigma Black Belt and holds certifications in Online and Distance Education, Accelerated Learning and
E-learning Development.
