05/14/2008: GeoLearning's on-demand GeoMaestro 5 Series learning and performance management platform has been named a finalist in the “Best New Product or Service—Computer Software” category of the 2008 American Business Awards. Winners will be announced during the annual gala on Thursday, June 12 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

04/09/2008: The 2008 Summit on Learning & Performance (www.geolearning.com/summit), GeoLearning's annual user and partner conference, will take place June 8-12, 2008 in San Antonio, TX at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio.

03/05/2008: GeoLearning was named “Software Company of the Year” at the 2008 Prometheus Awards hosted by the Technology Association of Iowa (TAI). The awards ceremony was held Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the Meadows Convention Center in Altoona, Iowa. GeoLearning was named “Top Growth Company of the Year” at the 2007 Prometheus Awards, and “Technology Company of the Year” in 2006.

02/25/2008: GeoLearning has secured a growth equity investment of $31 million from Fidelity Ventures. The funds, which represent the first institutional investment for GeoLearning, will be utilized to accelerate the company’s sales and marketing efforts, continue to build its international presence and channel partner network, and potential acquisitions.

02/19/2008: Human Resources Outsourcing Today magazine has named GeoLearning to its annual “Baker’s Dozen” list of the largest providers of learning outsourcing services for a third consecutive year. GeoLearning made the annual list with an estimated 13,000,000 employees trained in 2007.

01/22/2008: Frank Russell, president and CEO of GeoLearning, will present a corporate overview at Pacific Crest’s 3rd Annual On-Demand Conference on February 28 at The Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, CA.

01/07/2008: GeoLearning's GeoMaestro 5 Series LMS Suite has been named “Best On-Demand Learning Management System” in the annual Best of E-Learning! Awards hosted by E-Learning! Magazine. GeoMaestro was also voted “Best Hosted LMS” in the 2005 and 2006 awards.

“Customer service is a key requirement of e-learning products, according to voters in E-Learning! Magazine’s Best of 2007 Awards,” wrote Jerry Roche in the Winter 2008 issue announcing the winners. “GeoLearning’s GeoMaestro 5 software ran away with the competition in the category of Best On-Demand LMS. It was far and away the top vote-getter of all category winners in the 2007 competition.
