Statement
The GeoLearning learning management system (LMS), learning content management
system (LCMS) and user interface have been upgraded to meet technical requirements
for Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, which requires computer software
applications purchased or developed by federal agencies to be designed for
equal accessibility by people with disabilities. Learners with vision, hearing
or motor skill disabilities can use the GeoLearning LMS, LCMS and related features
to access courses in the appropriate mode for use with assistive technology.
GeoLearning used Criterion 508 Solutions, an independent consulting
and testing service, to test and verify compliance with Section 508
of the Rehabilitation Act. |
